The Park of Culture and Recreation in Uralsk has almost two centuries of history.

In 1840, the city authorities of the Ural Cossacks decided to build a public military garden and build a manor on its territory.

After the revolution of 1917, the Military Garden became the property of the state and was renamed the State, then the Trade Union. During the civil war of 1919, the garden was disfigured by trenches, all trees and bushes were destroyed by shells. In 1932, the city council of Uralsk decided on the creation of a city park of culture and recreation. Since 1944, the Komsomol organizations restored order in the park, named after S. M. Kirov.

Currently, the city park of culture and recreation named after Kirov, the last reconstruction, extends over an area of one hundred hectares. The park was created for recreation, where it is interesting to spend family leisure. Bright, fun and safe rides are provided for kids.
